Lately we can heard either from TV, Radio, Weblog and any kind of mainstream media regarding these girl, Sufiah Yusof, and there were also many comment pro and con about unfortunate girl. Peoples are very fast in in judging the things that they don’t really know or the don’t even know or understand the right situation. People also like to pin point onto the parents and blaming the way of the parents raised their children, and for the non-muslim that don’t really understand the way muslim raised their children in a way of islamic teaching, they can easily blamed the muslim right to raised their children in a muslim way of life.
For me if you don’t really understand something, never tried to give an opinion on the such things. Just watch and learn.
I am a parent too, I have 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters and the most important thing is I am a muslim, a sincere muslim. I tried to give my children the best everytime, I giving my full effort to raise them in a way that taught by Islam. Overtime I can see that some of my teaching were manipulated by them sometime, as a woking parent I can’t monitored my children 24/7. The best way I can do is to teach them there is a barrier for us as a human being. Islam has taught this more than 1400 years ago. Teach my children the punishment that they shall get for their wrong doing, teach them the limit of between men and women.
Behind us, we shall ‘ tawakkal’ to our creators, Allah s.w.t. For my non-muslim friend you may be don’t believe there is Allah as the Al-Mighty, but believe me, every creation must came from a creator even they are a human. And believe me if you create or invent something you should know how to control it.
Lastly me as a human being , created by Allah, should pray to him a lot, because we want Him to guide and to control us on the right track. I don’t think Sufiah parent asking for the bad deed, I believe they were praying Allah a lot, and maybe Allah will grant their prayer in the other way not in the way they want to because as a creator He know what is bad and what is no, but the time will tell.
